As usual, a Spy from the The Gims Media Team patrolled MUNI waakye’s joint in Accra last Sunday since the joint is famously known to lodge public figures from all walks of entertainment branch in Ghana ranging from Music, Movies, Tv and Radio Personalities for the motive that, the base is Accra’s Largest and Quality waakye grounds.  Only two TV personalities plus four Musicians were spotted that day, enjoying the special Sunday waakye breakfast prepared by the one and only Waakye mogul (Auntie Muni). Surprisingly a slight feud scene popped up between Auntie Muni’s trainee and two musicians who tried escaping their waakye arrears. According to TheMonteOz Informant, Auntie Muni complained that, this is not the first time these musicians who doesn’t deserve to be mentioned has refused to settle their bills after enjoying her meals and if she allows them to go away without paying for what they have consumed, their bills will almost be 1.2Million which converts to the New Ghana Currency as 120Ghana Cedis (GHC).
They are not the only people owing me money (Auntie Muni said in Hausa Language to the Spy), she proceeded: I can give u names of big musicians, actors TV and radio presenters who owe me. Because I know them to be icons’ I sometimes consider them and some also escape payments giving excuses they are having huge money on them and can’t be changed, Muni Cries.
Auntie Muni then threatened that; she will discharge names of all public figures that are on her debt list to the media if they do not patch up their balance before the end of next month.cc;themonteoz.com

Ananmon rubbishes Ghana Music-'says its fake'

Raphel Essien, known in the showbiz circus as 'ANAMON' has openly describe the trend in Ghana music as worthless. He believes we are headed to 'nowhere' if this trend continues.
Explaining his point,he said most countries use their native language in presenting their music but it is not the case in Ghana. He believes its an outsider should be able to grasp the origin of a music by hearing a few lines, ideally in a native language.
This,he argued that it does not say he wants our music to be rootsy but wants it to have a piece of our culture. He attributed this as the main reason for the decline in cassette and c.d sales.
The ace Kumasi rapper has therefore realeased a piece with ATUMPAN which he believes has all the qualities a good local music should have in Ghana. He calls it 'GBOLO'which is translated to mean 'ashawo',produced by one of the city's finest Black Tiger and video shot in Kumasi and Accra.
He is the man behind great hits like ‘wo  nko me nko anaa’which he featured SAMINI and KWABENA KWABENA,'pull and push','water bambam' with ODK.
